EU Deliveries

As you are no doubt aware, the UK finally left the EU on 1 January 2021. As the UK is now outside of the EU, it means that we have to operate within different frameworks than before and these will have an effect on how we deal with your order, and the process you go through to receive it. This page is intended to give you important information so that you can make a decision about whether to proceed with your order

It should be noted that this information is in addition to the information found on our Payment & Delivery page and within our Terms & Conditions, and you should make sure you read those as well.

VAT and import charges
We no longer charge UK VAT of 20% on orders we ship outside of the UK. However, local VAT will be payable upon import to your country. The rate varies across the EU, so may be more or less than the 20% UK rate.

There may be other administration charges to pay, depending on the process in your country, but you will be advised of this by either Customs or your local delivery company before they deliver your goods

We would point out that we have no control over these charges, and they are not charges that are being paid to us.

You will need to pay any VAT and / or additional costs due before you will be able to take delivery of your order.

Our prices are in pounds sterling
Whilst the facility exists on our website to display prices in Euros, as noted on our Payment & Delivery page, all of our charges are made in pounds sterling.

This means that - depending on the exchange rate your bank or card issuer is using at the time of your order - you may pay slightly more or slightly less than the Euro equivalent that is displayed.

The final total in pounds sterling is always shown on the checkout before you complete the order, and on the invoice that is presented once the order is complete.

Import One Stop Shop (IOSS)
This is a new system that has been recently introduced that is intended to streamline the process of delivering shipments from the UK to the EU, and it would mean that no VAT or other charges would be due upon import - they would all be paid at the time the order is placed.

As this is a new system, we are still investigating whether we can integrate it into our software and will update this page when we know more.

It is important to note, though, that even if we do start to use IOSS, it does not stop the charges being made, it simply moves the point at which they are paid.
